We, the residents and fellows of the University of Maryland Medical Center, unite to achieve a common goal: striving to ensure that UMMC provides the highest-quality care for our patients, our families, and our community. We represent all Housestaff members who—for years—have felt their concerns undercut and dismissed. UMRFA is an arbiter who will listen and speak for those concerns. Together, we will negotiate a legally binding contract that reflects the extraordinary commitment and value provided by the residents and fellows employed by UMMC. 

We invite ALL housestaff of the UMMC to stand together in strength and solidarity, and to join our fight to create a better UMMC for all who come through its doors. We unite as residents and fellows, as physicians and caregivers. WE UNITE AS A UNION!
